Charges For Focal Permit by FSSAI

  • New Permit: INR 7500/year.
  • Reestablishment permit: INR 7500/year.
  • Adjustment Permit: INR 7500/alteration.

Qualification for State Permit

  • Vegetable oil handling and units delivering vegetable oil through dissolvable extraction and processing plants including oil expeller unit: Upto 2 MT/day and turnover over 12 lakh.
  • Meat handling unit: Up to 500 kg each day or 150 MT for every annum.
  • All food handling units including relabelled and repackers: In excess of 100 kg/ltr to2 MT/day with the exception of grains, oats, and heartbeats processing units.

  • Capacity (Aside from Controlled air and Cold): Limit upto50,000 MT.
  • Stockpiles (cold/refrigerated) : Limit up to 10,000 MT.
  • Capacity (controlled Environment +Cold): Limit up to 1,000 MT.
  • Distributor: Turnover up to 30 crores.
  • Retailer: Turnover up to 20 crores.
  • Merchant: Turnover up to 20 crores.
  • Provider: Turnover up to 20 crores.
  • Food provider: Turnover up to 20 crores.
  • Club/Container: Turnover in excess of 12 lakhs/annum.
  • Lodging: 3 stars and above and under 5 stars or up to 3 stars and turnover in excess of 12 lakh.
  • Café: Turn over up to 20 crores.
  • Carrier: Having up to 100 vehicles/carts Or Turn over up to30 crores.
  • Advertiser: Turn over up to 20 crores.

Expenses for State Permit

New Permit

  • Over 1 MT/day creation – Rs 5000/year.
  • 10,000 to 50,000 liters of milk each day Or 501 to 2500 MT of milk solids per year, or Rs 5000 per year.
  • Under 1 MT of Creation – Rs. 3000/year.
  • 2.5 MT of milk solids per year, or 501 to 10,000 Ltrs of milk each day, or Rs. 3000 per year.
  • Inns up to 4 stars – Rs 5000/year.

Restoration of Permit

The charges for the re-establishment of a permit rely upon the number of years chosen.

Adjustment of permit

The expenses for change of the permit are charges for one (1) year per permit adjustment.

Copy of Permit

10% of the relevant permit charge.
